We Were Blessed

I was married to a man very abusive and controlling..Man ..took many years for me to realize and be ready to leave didn’t leave in the best circumstances but left that was the important ,went to spend two months at inter place shelter . They were very nice and welcome was really hard to get use to this new life me and my three boys were sleeping in the same room …at the interim place they help me to get a lawyer and did the application for housing the staff there were very nice and supportive .when a staff member came to me and give the application to apply to go to Armagh I was very happy…I went for interview with Jessica Adams …and Armagh and I was accepted..was really happy because was going to have my own apartment and the support that I need it .

Was at Armagh for 14 months was a very helpful and safe place to stay….and had the help I needed from counseling to support me when I had to go to court and see my lawyer …they were amazing with the kids with home work and so many different events …also I really and enjoyed the parenting and self-esteem program .The staff at Armagh was very supportive everyone and my kids and myself really love all of them.

When I got to Armagh was so happy because didn’t had to share the bathroom with anyone had my own kitchen and my living space…even do the shelter the staff was nice …was hard to leave there because so many other woman’s and I just left my house and relationship…was overwhelming .. they are good to welcome the womans and to redirected them to the right places . Im very blessed with all the help I had. Armagh was more grounded with a lot of support and programs for the kids and they put my boys in summer camp ..like I said we were blessed …and I left Armagh and still having the support for court and anything I need to ask they there for me and my boys..

this is a place that woman like myself could build up their self-esteem and be ready for the world outside .Im stronger and more assertive in this new life.. I will suggest Armagh as a beautiful and safe place for families to stay …and the staff they just amazing …always supportive and helpful

THANK you ARMAGH for everthing .
