Armagh staff treat personal information of clients, volunteers, staff and donors on a need to know basis. Donor financial information is strictly limited to professional staff that need to process the information. A donor may give through Donor Perfect. Contact Information:
Please contact Armagh if you have any questions or wish to be removed from our contact lists by e-mailing info@armaghhouse.ca with “privacy statement” in the subject line.
How We Use the Information:
Armagh will never publish, sell, trade, rent or share names or contact information of our donors (unless released for publication). Armagh will use contact information (e-mail, telephone number and address) of donors for the following reasons only:
· Distribute receipts of donations
· Thank donors for their donation
· Inform donors about upcoming fundraising events and other activities
· Internal analysis and record keeping
· Reporting to relevant government agencies (these reports are for government purposes only and are not released to the public)
· Contact donors about changes to this policy statement
We may from time to time acknowledge our donors publicly through, but not limited to, our annual newsletter, media, or while speaking in public unless the donor has specifically chosen to remain anonymous and has informed Armagh of this choice.
In all other cases the default is for staff and volunteers to assume all donations are to be publicly acknowledged unless the donor explicitly indicates otherwise. Testimonials or comments given on donor forms may be used in our promotional materials or website.
