Hope

“Coming here, the first thing was hope. This space gave me an opportunity to grow, push myself towards a positive path. Living here, you have to come out of your comfort zone to become better. The living space was uncomfortable because of the size however, it made me make a plan for myself and the children. This also made me realize I cannot be on government help for the rest of my life. Armagh assisted me in starting a school program to get myself back on my feet. Armagh gave me the confidence to move forward. Armagh was the only place that was open when every other door was shut.

Going to a shelter was hope but coming to Armagh was beyond my thoughts.

The team gave me the confidence I needed. Especially meeting with Jessica as everything she was able to do to support me, the mother, the sister, and the heart.

For someone to believe in me, I was able to look at myself as I was always told that I should not think of myself and only my children matter. I was able to see that in order to take care of my children, I need to take care of myself first. With Armagh's amazing staff, I was able to see this and understand I can take care of myself.

The donations provided to me throughout my time here was amazing and made me feel good to know that I was able to get the credit for providing these things for my children. Everything Armagh was able to provide to me made my life better and less stressful. “
